Little Lyons Childcare in Emporia is continuing its expansion as demand for childcare remains high across Lyon County, with additional classrooms expected to open in the coming weeks.
The childcare center is currently operating out of the south side of its facility, where three classrooms have been relocated while construction continues on the north end of the building.
“Our goal is to open the next three sets of classrooms within, I would say, a month,” said Little Lyons Childcare Director Serena Jeffrey. “We’ll have two infant rooms, two toddler rooms and two pre-K classrooms.”
